Cancellation Fee

Time Frame Cancellation Fee
More than 24 hours of scheduled departure time Only reservation charges would be deducted from the total amount
From 24 hours and up to 2 hours before the scheduled departure time 10% of the basic fare and reservation charges would be retained as cancellation charges.
From 2 hours to 1 hour before the scheduled departure time 15% of the basic fare and reservation charges would be retained as cancellation charges.
Between 1 hour before the scheduled departure time and departure time 25% of basic fare and reservation charges would be retained as cancellation charges. TDR has to be filed by the passenger for processing cancellation of ticket.
After departure of bus No refund.

Q1. What are the advantages of purchasing a bus ticket online?
Advantages of buying a bus ticket online :
a. You can book seat and timings of your choice as per your convenience.
b. You can choose from buses based on boarding points, timing and bus type.

Q2. Do I need to register to use the online booking?
No, it is not mandatory you may book a ticket by logging in as a guest. However, a ticket booked online can be cancelled only by a registered user. This is a process to protect your credit card / bank account / ticket being used / cancelled in an unauthorized manner and to have user’s details in case of an adversary.

However, if register yourself for booking with UPSRTC, for your own advantage, in a few simple step process your ticket booking cancellation is available to you in your My Tickets account.

Further, you get the advantage of a secondary protection in case of unauthorized usage of your ticket / card or account. You may also benefit for any promotional schemes, mileage or booking based which are launched by UPSRTC for frequent customers.

Q3.It is necessary to take print out of the e-ticket?
No, it is not mandatory to carry a print out of the e-ticket. A valid e-ticket on electronic medium – mobile phone, laptop, tablets, etc is accepted along with a valid photo id of the authorized user.

** Internet banking (internet enabled online bank account)

Q5.Can I pay using my internet enabled bank account?
Yes, you can transfer money by net banking from any of the banks mentioned in the list of banks in the payment gateway to buy tickets

Q6. Can I cancel my ticket online?
The tickets booked online can be cancelled online by Registered User. The cancellation charges would be applicable as per the cancellation/ refund policy at the time of cancellation. Service originating place, time of departure and destination place will be notified on e-ticket.

  1. Very very poor service between Ghaziabad to Etah.

  2. Such a nasty and pathetic service. They don’t pick call and when they do, they talk in abusive language. This is my PNR Number XALM3401211900234. I booked my tickets in your UPSRTC Bus dated 31st January 2018 which was cancelled. I called on toll free number given by UPSRTC to refund the amount. Person who is received a call misbehaved and abused me. I want to raise complaint as well as demand my refund for the same.

  4. No use of the phone number given in the website. They don’t even pick up the phone. I am trying to call them from noon & now it is night but they don’t respond, such a pathetic service. UPSRTC really needs to work on this.

  5. I live in Raebareli. I travel mostly Raebareli to Azamgad by Bus. Today I was waiting for bus in Azamgad Station at 10’O clock morning but the bus came at 12:30 After noon. Poor service.

    रोडवेज का किराया बढ़ाते चले जारहे हैं और सुविधा के नाम पर कुछ भी नहीं जितनी भी कंडम बसें हैं और जितने कंडम चालक और परिचालक है उनको कानपुर से गोरखपुर के बीच सिर्फ चोरी का माल धोने से फुरसत नहीं यात्री यदि चलने को कहता है तो बत्तमीजी से बात करते हैं और नियम समझाते हैं.

  8. I tried to book the ticket via online (redbus service )around 1.30pm on 20 August from Agra to LKO. The money 2850 rupees has got deducted earlier and I couldn’t get ticket. I received the message where it was written that your money would be transfer within 10 working days till now I couldn’t get back the money.
