The Board was constituted on 1.11.1989 under the provisions of Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Act 1989 (Act No . 15 of 1989 ), with the following Functions & Responsibilities in the Hyderabad Metropolitan Area.The Supply of potable water including planning, design, construction, maintenance, operation & management of water supply system.Sewerage, Sewerage Disposal and sewerage treatment works including planning, design, construction, maintenance, operation & management of all sewerage and sewerage treatment works.

  • Please send 1000 ltrs tanker urgently as we are paying bill but no water supply our staff is uncomfortable cont

  • No water supply since 10 days 3-3-648 chappal Bazar Kachiguda where neighbour are getting ladies are suffering due to lack of supplies.

  • Our previous connection with 15mm was changed to 20mm with Consumer Number 618620943 in May 2018. We got a bill in the month of July 2018 with “Zero” meter reading whereas the actual meter reading as on that day was 210 units when a complaint was raised a new bill was issued on the 26th July with the present reading shown as 225 units as on that day and payment due was shown as Rs. 6132/-. Another bill was raised on the 4th of August 2018 with total units consumed as 10 units a bill amounting to Rs.3066 was issued. How can two bills be raised within a span of 9 days for such a huge amount. The bill of Rs. 6132/- has been paid within the due date. Please resolve the issue ASAP.

  • No water supply from five days in Murali Nagar area, Dood bowli Division. Please solve this problem as early as possible.

  • I am from Karmanghat,Hyderabad. Water supply connection comes under Sahebnagar Division. I have applied for water connection, for 100 syds for which I have submitted documents in which I have submitted partition papers showing two portions as East and West separately. After inspected by inspecting officer, the report submitted as one whole plot,as 200sqyds and no partition wall in between the partitioned plot for which the water dept authority asked me to pay Rs10217/-towards New connection of 1/2" size. There is one plot of 200sqyrds divided into two parts but no dividing wall in between them because we did not find reason to construct a partition wall to show separate piece of land. Hence I request to reconsider feasibility charge for 100sqyrd instead of 200sqyrds.

  • I, Uttam Patel would like to bring to kind notice that I am in Chartered Accountant by profession having our office at Banjarahills at Road No.10 Namdari Road Hyderabad. Earlier till the month of May we used to get water bill under the category of domestic usage. From the month of June we are getting water bill under the category of Commercial. I have been to our water works department at Banjarahill opposite to GVK ONE Mall and met the concern and I have given a written representation with a case study of Karnataka High Court which states that organization like us does not come under Commercial category and a covering letter requesting them to do the needful as mentioned in the above subject,and my office representative had personally visited water works department at Banjarahill opposite to GVK ONE Mall 2 days back. He got an information that they have recently changed because of mapping from GHMC & Commercial Tax department,as we come under Commercial category. I am surprised to hear such kind of information first of its kind. I humbly request you to kindly help me in this regard in resolving the issue at the earliest for which I will be thankful to you.

  • My CAN No is 616227371. I was a member of HMWSSB from 25 years. I am paying the bill in personal and online way regularly. On 27/09/2016 I took the bill from your employee bill No.D000001194 and bill amount is Rs.890. In another your SMS message Bill No 68425710 was mentioned bill amount Rs.890. Only one month bill having two different numbers. How will it be possible.

    From so many years I was paid the monthly bill Rs.242 only. But this month you declared the amount Rs.890. I already fixed water Meter and informed to the HMWSSB. You was already announced the who are not fixed the Meter,they will be paid the bill amount (242x2) double.
    But how to increase the my bill at Rs.890. You mentioned in the bill it is commercial. I request you to kindly reduce my monthly bill and bill fixed on meter reading only.

    I have recd. a message regarding water meter,repair/replace etc. I tried to call the no. given 155313, but it is being disconnected while waiting to get any executive to talk with. Please note that I have installed the water meter few years ago, and it is in working condition. It can be verified.

    • Please check on HMWSSB water meter information. They have given full information and contact no. Of agency with division.
