Retailer Registration

Terms and Conditions :
1. UJALA distribution point should have minimum space of 10 ft by 10 ft.
2. An UJALA Sign board (as per EESL specified format) of minimum size 1.5 ft by 2 ft must be installed outside UJALA distribution counter/shop.

3. UJALA LEDs once purchased from e-Bazaar is meant for distribution to end consumer and not for subletting to other agency or shop for distribution.
4. The shop owner is permitted to distribute UJALA LEDs from its shop only and not from any other channel.

5. Bill is to be given to consumers on purchase of UJALA LEDs
6. UJALA LEDs are to be distributed at MRP mentioned on mono cover. Distributing UJALA LEDs at price higher than MRP is an illegal activity and suitable action will be taken against the shop ownerl/agency.

7. 1% of purchased UJALA LED is to be maintained separately for replacement service.
(a) Shop owner shall ensure to provide replacement service for technically defective UJALA appliances for 3 years from date of purchase by consumer from his shop.
(b) The shop owner is to update on eBazaar about technically defective UJALA LEDs collectedy from consumers with minimum quanitity of 50.
(c) EESL through its logistic agency will collect the defective and provide same quantity of fresh LEDs. EESL or its agency will examine the defective LEDs collected by shopowner before handing over fresh LEDs.
(d)In any circumstance 6% is the maximum defective quantity that will be made available to shop against purchase for replacement during during 3 years waranty period and distribution period.

8. EESL reserves the right to modify, amend, cancel or revoke, in whole or in part, UJALA program at any time. However, updates on UJALA scheme will be available on e-Bazaar and EESL website.

9. EESL do not encourage anyone to make any investment to start an UJALA distribution counter. Hence, EESL will not be accountable for any loss due to shop’s personal preference.
10. Shop/Distributor can call on UJALA help line number 0141 – 4044186 for complete understanding of EESL’s UJALA scheme and about UJALA appliances.
