About Us

National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), an umbrella organisation for operating retail payments and settlement systems in India, is an initiative of Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and Indian Banks’ Association (IBA) under the provisions of the Payment and Settlement Systems Act, 2007, for creating a robust Payment & Settlement Infrastructure in India.

Considering the utility nature of the objects of NPCI, it has been incorporated as a “Not for Profit” Company under the provisions of Section 25 of Companies Act 1956 (now Section 8 of Companies Act 2013), with an intention to provide infrastructure to the entire Banking system in India for physical as well as electronic payment and settlement systems.

The Company is focused on bringing innovations in the retail payment systems through the use of technology for achieving greater efficiency in operations and widening the reach of payment systems.

    Let me know the procedure to raise a compliant against NPCI. Do you have any toll free number to raise complaint or should I send an email to Board of Directs.

  • Mr Sidhdhartha Awasthi is claiming to be from NPCI and has provided me his I card with following details
    License no 445131
    Designation: Dr FRO, MNG
    Card no 3891781S

    He is claiming to release my funds of about Rs 25 lakhs & is asking 3% of this amount as security charges. I DON'T KNOW WHETHER HE IS GENUINE PERSON FROM NPCI AS I DONT THINK NPCI IS RELEASING INDIVIDUAL PAYMENTS.

    IT IS URGENT PLEASE.
    If he is not genuine employee of NPCI, PLEASE START A COMPAIGN SIMILAR TO IRDA FOR PUBLIC AWARENESS AS THEY SEEMS TO HAVE SWITCHED OVER FROM IRDA TO NPCI FOR FRAUDULENT ACTIVITIES.

  • My SBI bank account where I am getting my gas subsidy has closed in April-2017 and aadhar number is linked with SBI account. The subsidy amount is showing as hold. I request you to transfer the hold amount in SBI account and continue to SBI account.

  • MY Karnataka Bank account where I am getting my Gas subsidy closed on 2.2.2018 and The LPG subsidy of HP of Rs.284.66 failed with my account against delivery on cash memo 1020841. Now I have a new account in SBI. I request you to arrange to transfer the said amount and see the subsidies in future bills accounted to SBI.
