Shipping Policy

** We regret the inconvenience caused.
** Kindly email us at customersupport AT bookadda.com with your Transaction Id, the 13-digit Order Reference Number, mentioned in the subject of your mail.
** We will get back to you regarding the transaction.

** Please have the Transaction Id handy with you before calling.

Shipping and Delivery cost :
** Almost all Orders above Rs 399 are delivered to your doorstep free of cost.
** Please append Rs 49 as courier charges for any order below Rs 399.
** Some items may attract Handling Charges, which are payable extra.
** Handling Charges, when applicable are clearly mentioned in the Product Specifications page.

** Handling Charges are applied wherever the volumetric weight of the item is more and/or the item needs special packing & shipping care.
** Few Bulky Sports equipment may attract a flat Rs 1000/- shipping charge for most parts of India.
** Few remote locations need extra payment beyond this for Bulky Sports equipment (e.g. North East, Andaman Island etc).

Delivery Time :
** Major destinations are serviced by known national courier companies and deliveries normally take 1-4 days.
** You can track the status and location of your parcel after dispatch on the respective courier’s website using the parcel’s tracking code.
** Remote locations where there is no coverage by our empanelled couriers get serviced through India Post, a Government of India undertaking.
** There is NO online tracking currently available for parcels sent by Registered Post or VPP.
** Delivery through India Post normally takes longer and could extend to more than 2 weeks for some locations and rare situations.
** Kindly be patient – inform us if there is an inordinate delay and we will follow up with India Post.
** When you place an order, the estimated shipping/dispatch and estimated delivery time will be specified based on the availability of the item, your delivery location and coverage by our empanelled couriers.
** Generally the dispatch timeline falls under below categories

Books/CDs/Electronic Kits :
The dispatch time details are:
1 – 3 days: Items are currently in stock with local distributor(s)/vendor(s) and may likely be shipped on the same day if the order(s) is placed before 2 p.m.
3 – 7 days: Items are available at the distributor’s warehouse and will need to be ordered from there.
14 – 21 days: These items are imported into India.
** Day(s) means working day(s) excluding Sunday and National Holidays.

Out of stock :
** These items are currently out of stock. We accept email IDs and will intimate you once the items are back in stock.

Pre-Order :
** The stock of these products is expected shortly (usually within 2-3 weeks).
** We accept email IDs and will intimate you once the products are ready to be shipped for you to place your order(s).

Note :
** Items ordered on Saturday after 4 p.m. will take an extra day to ship due to the weekend.

** 25 units of at least 10 different titles or at least 25 copies of a single title would qualify as a bulk order, if they fall in any of the above discount matrix slab.
** The above discount matrix may not apply to all the titles.

** The standard delivery periods will not apply for the bulk orders
