Shipping Policy

** The estimated time of delivery is mentioned on every page. It may differ from one item to another.

Mentioned as 4-5 days delivery time :
** These items will be mentioned as “In Stock”. For all areas serviced by reputed couriers the delivery time will be 4-5 business days.
** For other areas, orders will be sent by Registered Post through the Indian Postal Service which may take 1-2 weeks depending on the location.
** Business days does not include public holidays and Sundays.
** This does not apply to bulk orders where 5 or more book/magazines/textbooks are purchased in one transaction.
** With every order, you will receive an email containing the details of the order placed by you.

Mentioned as more than 4 days delivery time :
** Some books/magazines/textbooks may have to be imported from outside India hence could take more time.
** These are mentioned sometimes as “Imported” on the item details page and can take up to 2 weeks or more to reach you.

For Not In Stock :
** In case a book is Not In Stock please use the “Wish list” feature and we will let you know once it is available for sale at Bookstok.com.
** Your subscription of magazines will start between 5 to 7 weeks in case of Indian magazines and between 13 to 15 weeks in case of International magazines.

Cancellation & Returns

For Books :
For outright Cancellations by you :
** If you Cancel your order before your product has shipped, Bookstok will refund the entire amount within 21 days or will provide you with a Refund Voucher which helps you buy a book of your choice later.

If the cancellation is after your product has shipped, you can do one of the following :
** If your product has shipped but has not yet been delivered, contact Customer Support and inform them of the same or drop us an email at cs AT bookstok.com.
** If you’ve received the product and want to return it, you can do so within 7days of receiving your shipment, you may return only unopened item(s) in its original packaging, for a refund (excluding shipping costs).

For Magazines & Journals :
** Bookstok.com is bound by the refund policies of publishers of the publications you have subscribed to, through us.
** Please note, the subscription of magazines normally starts between 5 to 7 weeks in case of Indian magazines and between 13 to 15 weeks in case of International magazines.
** In case of cancellation made within 45 days from the date of order, the respective publishers refund policies will be applicable and you will be refunded accordingly.
** A 20% service charge on the total and original value of the cancelled subscriptions will be applicable.
** We will be unable to refund for cancellations made after 45 days from the date of order.
** However in case of unforeseen cases from the publisher end, efforts will be made to offer a refund on a pro-rated basis, subject to the respective publisher policy, i.e.
** refunded value will be for the unshipped issues upon receipt of the refund from the respective publisher.
** Should we have provided you with gifts along with your subscription, the value of the gifts to us shall also be adjusted against the refund that may be due to you.
** The value of the gift will be equivalent to its cost to us – including shipping and delivery, but not the market price.
** If your magazine has shipped but has not yet been delivered, contact Customer Support and inform them of the same or drop us an email at cs AT bookstok.com.

** You can make a Cheque or Cash Deposit in banks accounts held by “Bookstok Media Pvt Ltd” in ICICI Bank branches.
