Shipping Policy

Free Shipping :
** Shipping is Free for all articles. Prices mentioned against each item are the final cost to the buyer – There are no hidden costs.
** Shipping for all orders above US$ 50 will be through the Federal Express CorporationTM; UPSTM; or DHLTM Shipping may also be done by any other carrier, if such a request is made by the buyer. Orders below US$ 50 may also be shipped through FedExTM/UPSTM, at the sole discretion of Exotic India.
** In case a shipment of value less than US $50 is not shipped by FedExTM/UPSTM, the shipment will be sent by Registered Air Mail. Delivery for such shipments will normally take place between 10 to 20 days.
** We ship to all all countries having Diplomatic relations with India. This includes all countries in North America, Europe, Australasie, and South America.

Tracking Number :
** After the dispatch of the Shipment through FedEx/UPS, the customer shall be communicated by email an Internet tracking number, which can be tracked on the FedEx web site . UPS tracking numbers can be tracked through ups courier . This number normally becomes operational within 24 hours of dispatch. After the number has become operational and has been provided to the buyer, the article shall be deemed to be delivered to the buyer.
** Packages through Air Mail do not have a tracking facility. For tracking number, customers are welcome to select FedExTM/UPSTM through the shopping cart by paying a nominal amount to cover the extra costs.

Period of Delivery :
** The normal period for delivery to US, European, and Australian destinations is between 3 to 5 business days. However, Exotic India does not guarantee any time limit of delivery. In odd instances, a consignment may be delayed due to extraneous circumstances such as delayed Customs clearance, Flight delays, etc.

Customs Clearance :
** The consignment will be delivered to the buyer at his/her doorstep by the Carrier, after all customs formalities have been completed. The Carrier will be responsible for the clearance of the shipment from Customs.
** The above policy is applicable to Retail Orders only.

Exceptions to the above may be noted in the following cases :
Framed Paintings :
** Framing requires 3 to 5 busines days, after which it will be shipped by Federal Express, as per our regular Policy, as stated above.
** All Framed articles will be sent duly insured, at no extra cost to the buyer.

Saris, Salwar Kameez :
** Blouse/Petticoat set for the saris; and Salwar Kameez Suits – tailored to custom measurements, may require an extra 5 to 7 days for shipment.

Books :
** All books showcased are subject to availablity with the publisher.
** In case a Book purchased is out of print, the full amount of the purchase will be refunded to the buyer.

Beauty and Healthcare Products :
** Courier delivery for some of the products listed in the Beauty and Healthcare sections may not be available.
** Such products will consequently be shipped by EMS (Priority Air Mail) or Registered Air Mail.

VAT :
** Some countries in Europe require a payment of VAT on inward shipments.
** The delivery courier will collect any such local taxes at the point of delivery.
** Customers can also contact us by email once thay have placed an order for any special documentation.

Returns and Exchanges

** Exotic India guarantees the quality of the products we offer.
** We also realize it is difficult, sometimes, to accurately judge a work of art from an image on a screen.
** We want to assure our customers that while we do not want curiosity sales, we will allow you to return a work in its original condition for a full refund of the amount paid by you, if it does not meet your expectations.
** Please contact Exotic India within seven days of receipt of the item, at support AT exoticindia.com and specify the product code of the work to be returned.
** The buyer will be responsible for the return shipping and insurance costs.
** The refund or exchange is processed within 48 hours of our receiving back the item. The refund will be provided subject to receipt of the artwork in the original state.
** Please buy with confidence that your work of art will meet or exceed your expectations.

    BINDING OF THE BOOK RECEIVED IN DAMAGED CONDITION
    Today I have received my ordered book, as mentioned in trailing mail. The binding of the book is completely damaged. It is damaged beyond my acceptable limit. I am extremely unhappy with your such a careless consignment. I request you to replace the item without delay. I am a return customer of Exotic India. Previously I have purchased many books from you. I hope your quick response and immediate replacement of the same. Please do the needful as early as possible.

  5. I just now bought a book from your website “Maha Nirvana Tantra – Item Code HAA499” worth Rs 450 + Rs 50 Handling charges and made a payment using my Debit Card. Transaction was complete and money is deducted from my account. But Order ID wasn’t generated. I saw an error message saying Invalid Payment details. (But my money has been deducted). I am worried about my money. I tried reaching customer care number of times but got no response.

    Please take a look at this issue ASAP and see that I either get my order delivered or my money returned back. If needed I can send a screenshot of the money deducted from my account and the SMS that I have received for the same.
