Cancellation Policy

** It’s easy to cancel or change your booking online from Goibibo Website or Mobile app.
** Go to Goibibo.com >(Top right side visit to 24×7 Express care) on mobile app visit to my Booking section.
** Enter your mobile number used while booking or Booking ID starting with HTL.
** Review cancellation charges and refund amount
** View your hotel booking details and check for cancellation policy under hyperlink Click on “Cancel my Booking” TAB

** Movement you click on cancel tab, verification code OTP (One time password) will be send on your registered mobile, Enter that verification code and proceed further
** On next page You have option to get refund to your bank account or Gocash ( You get refund instantly, as non-promotional GOCASH which is available for you to use for your next booking with Goibibo.com) for any product (BUS,FLIGHT,PACKAGE & HOTELS)
** Once booking is successfully cancelled online you will be intimated via auto generated email & SMS
** Cancellation charges will apply to amount displayed amount “Before discount”
** We do not allow partial cancellation online. Contact customer support team for assistance.

Note :
** Before proceeding cancellation you’re requested to check Hotel cancellation policy in the voucher which was sent to you at the time of booking.
** Non-refundable rooms and other special deals may have a different cancellation policy.
** You can view Hotel cancellation policy on the confirmation email
** The Cancellation Policies of the Hotels are dynamic and may change from time to time.

FAQ

Where can I check my refund status?
You can check the status of your refunds in ‘My Bookings’ section of goibibo.com. and Goibibo mobile apps (Android, IOS and Windows).The ‘Status’ column will tell you if the refund has been processed.

Can I make part payments?
** Goibibo Partial Payment facility enables you to book a confirmed International ticket by paying just a percentage of the total amount at the time of booking the ticket.
** You can pay the balance amount at a later date that is more convenient for you.
** This option is available only few sectors.
** If you choose to make a Partial Payment for your ticket, we will confirm your ticket.
** However the ticket will only be sent to you after we receive the full payment for the booking.
** The Partial Amount paid should be at least 25% of the Total Fare.

** The Due Date for paying the balance amount will be displayed on the booking page at the time of paying the advance.
** A refund of the partial paid amount lessening the cancellation charges of Goibibo and Airlines is granted on cancellation of tickets before due date of balance payment.
** You can call our Customer Support to make the balance payment by Credit Card.

How can I cancel my ticket online?
** Go to our 24X7 page and enter your Booking ID/ PNR no. or the phone number you used while booking ticket.
** The system will retrieve your ticket. Click on “Cancel” button to cancel your ticket.
** Keep your phone nearby as the OTP is generated on the number you used for the booking

    I was booking a flight ticket on your web site goibibo dated 19 Nov 2021 at 10:05Am from Surat to Bhubaneswar , At the time applicable amount deducted my account @ 3284.00 rupees ,but the flight ticket is not booked . So , please refund this amount as soon as possible .

    Payment done through internet banking vide refer ID : IGAMLJERI7 on 19Nov21. and payment through gateway IBIBO WEB PVT LTD.

  3. On 15th October 2021, I paid 26000 rs at Asus Laptop store, Marathahalli, Bangalore, Karnataka using net banking of Federal Bank. Amount 26000 rs has been deducted from my federal bank account and credited to IBIBO WEB PVT LTD but not credited to Asus laptop store. Regarding this I have complained to National Consumer Helpline ( NCH ). Complaint Docket number is 3031382.

    I request you kindly refund my amount as soon as possible.

      Did you receive amount back? I too had same problem for bajaj finance foreclosure payment done on 8th March. Amount credited to IBIBO and transaction got failed in Bajaj site.

    And Shrinagar -Delhi -Bombay on 1st June 2020 bearing Prn No. DGUQPP Flight No. 6E-2124 by Indigo both Flight are cancelled due COVID till the date I have not received any refund.

Sent so many emails, with your automated response for going thru app. Which do not come and application gets hanged.     Dear Team,

    This is very unfortunate that after struggling so much since yesterday I couldn’t connect with any of the helpline or customer care number of GoIBIBO. This is so strange.

    I was booking flight tickets On 6th let evening and while making the payment the money got deducted through UPI but I never reciebed booking confirmation from your end. The amount paid to GOIBIBO is INR 15039. The money has been debited from account on 6th October and my bank has confirmed that the amount is credited to the beneficiary.

    This is so bad service from end that no helpline number or email addresses mentioned to complaint and one travel AT goibibo.com is of no use. Please help

    This is to bring to your kind attention that, I have recently cancelled Order No. 4437-S1620615, 4437-S1526569, 4437-S1165515 from BUSINESSBUDIE ONLINE STORE. I have already made the payment in advance through PayU Payment Gateway Beneficiary Name : Ibibo Web Pvt Ltd.
    But Till date NO REFUND has been received.
    The same has been informed to Payu and Sh. Peeyush Gupta Founder & CEO of Business Buddie and PayU but no result found till date.

    With due respect to the subject and below communication with the GOIBIBO team, I would like to bring in your kind notice the followings:

    1. Reference to attached Air ticket copy-On the 3rd September, 2018 due to technical issues and delay of the domestic flight I was not able to catch my connecting International Flight.

    2. I was forced to board the domestic flight and was assured that GOIBIBO shall coordinate and provide an alternative solution for my connecting flight MUM_KWI, but unfortunately, nothing was arranged and I was left alone to suffer at Mumbai Airport.

    3. I was continuously on phone calling and talking to several team people { as listed in below email } requesting to each to provide an alternative optional flight and if there is any additional charges are applied, I am ready to cooperate as well, but my request was not considered and left alone at Mumbai Airport to suffer.

    4. With No option left after 6 hours, I had to buy another air ticket for jet airways with a very High price of IRS 38,000/- only for Mumbai to Kuwait.

    5. During all this process, I had approached concerned authorities in Emirates, Spice Jet, and Airport counter and nobody was able to help me and advise that my travel agent –GOIBIBO is the authorized body to do the changes and amendment to the booking.

    Just to let you know that I am continuously sending emails and calling international to reach the concerned person Mr. Jitendra Sharma, Mr. Gaurav – RSM 6449/RSM 7040/RSM 6979 to finalize the subject but unfortunately I am very much disappointed by GOIBIBO unprofessional and irresponsible behavior as your team is not accepting my call and excusing themselves by saying that they will call me back within next hour, which did NOT happen till date.

    I would appreciate if you and your good office could look into this subject and take appropriate action. Looking forward to your prompt response.
