How it Works :
** You can book taxis through our website or call centre (044 – 4455 6677).
** For online booking your need to register yourself giving contact details and your email id.
** Our system sends the same to the email address provided for record purpose.
** You can now log in. (You can reset your password of course!).
Droptaxi offers two types of products;
** One Way Drop Trip
** Round Trip
** While booking online, you have option of making a token advance of Rs.150 or Rs.200 through a secure payment gateway or cash to driver (CTD) option.
** After you have booked the trip, we will send an automated SMS & email.
** For all advance bookings made 12 hours prior, we shall give you confirmation status well in time before commencement of journey.
** Usually 4 hours before the time of journey, you will receive an SMS and email – with taxi and driver contact details.
** Driver and you coordinate and commence the journey.
Overall charges include the following :
** Taxi charges – kilometres travelled X tariff ( Pl see Tariff Chart)
** Driver batta – Rs.300 per trip for drop trip & Rs.300 per day for round trips.
** Beyond 400 kilometres travel in single trip / day – driver batta will be Rs.600.
Inter state permit charges : ( if applicable ) as per below table

** Toll charges for drop trips and for round trips at actuals.
** Parking charges at actuals, if any.
Waiting charges : Rs.75 per 1 hour. (For droptaxi – one way trip ONLY)
Cancellation Policy :
** The trips booked through Drop Taxi can be cancelled.
** Kindly note that the money is transferred back to the passenger’s credit/debit card within 15 days from the date of booking.
The following is the cancellation fee:
** Cancellation between 10 hours to 3 days before journey – full refund of the booking amount.
** Cancellation within 10 hours to the journey – booking amount will not be refunded.
Frequently Asked Questions :
Can I cancel my booking? And what about refunds?
Yes. You can cancel your booking. We shall refund your full booking amount if cancellation is done 10 hours before journey time. Refund money will be credited to your Credit Card / Debit Card / Net Banking account within 15 days.For cancellations done after 10 hours, booking amount will not be refunded.
Can I modify my journey?
Yes. Before 8 hours of the journey.You can modify the date, time, destination, and type of vehicle.However within 8 hours to the journey, modification cannot be done.
What about rude behavior of Taxi driver?
We contract well behaved drivers only. We instruct and advise them the importance of polite and respectful behavior towards customers. In case you find some of them are rude and impolite – pl do not hesitate to call us at 044 4455 6677. We shall initiate suitable action.
