How Zoomcar Works :
** Drive yourself to an adventure and back in 5 simple steps
** Sign up and book your machine, all on our site! You decide the duration, location, and car. It’s all super easy.
Upload License :
** Upload your driver’s license, pay the small security deposit and your booking is confirmed.
** We will SMS your car’s number plate 20 minutes before your booking starts. Unlock it via the Zoomcar app or SMS.
** Fill the checklist on the Zoomcar app or by calling us. Grab the keys in the glove-box, then drive baby, drive.
** Bring the car back to the same location, and fill the return checklist to end your booking. You are all set!
Hidden Charges :
** Our prices already include taxes, fuel, and insurance. And all our cancellation/rescheduling charges and penalties are clearly mentioned in the How Billing Works section. We hide nothing and believe that all the surprises you get from Zoomcar should be pleasant ones!
How do I make a booking?
It’s simple on our online reservation system! Just select the type of car you want, the location you want to pick it up from, and the start and end time for your reservation. Then enter your payment details (credit or debit card) and you are ready to Zoom!
Can I book for any period of time?
You can book cars by the hour, day, week, or month. You can book them 60 days in advance. The minimum reservation period is 4 hours.
How far in advance do I need to make a reservation?
As long as a vehicle is available, you can book immediately! Zoomcar recommends customers make bookings as early as possible.
How do I cancel a reservation?
Reservations can be cancelled from Zoomcar’s website or Zoomcar’s mobile app. You can manage a reservation on your Accounts page. This is where you have the option to cancel your reservation.
What happens if I return the car late?
a) Standard hourly fee will be applicable per hour of delay. Weekend or weekday delays will be charged accordingly.
b) Free KMs will be given at 10 km per hour of delay.
c) In addition to the standard hourly fee,
** First 2 hours of delay would be charged at Rs. 500/hour,
** Next 2 hours of delay would be charged at Rs. 750/hour, and
** Subsequent hours of delay would be charged at Rs. 1000/hour.
What modes of payments are accepted?
Zoomcar accepts payments by credit cards, debit cards and netbanking. All payments are made in advance through our website or mobile app. Sorry, we do not accept cash.
Can I take the car early?
No. If you want to take the car early, please reschedule your booking.
Where do I return the Zoomcar?
Return the Zoomcar to its pick up location. Need a reminder of the car’s home location? Please call our Call Center at 080-60009666 and we will connect you to our Fleet executive. Our Fleet Executive shall direct you to your Zoomcar Location.
What if I return to a different location?
If you leave your car at a location different from your pickup point, you will be charged INR 2000, and the full hourly rate and late fees until the vehicle is returned to the correct location.
